Brigitte Herz

Brigitte is One World’s co-founder and current Director. Graduating with honors from McGill in English and German literature, Brigitte has spent over 20 years in education teaching kindergarten, elementary, middle school to college level classes. Her methods have instructed teachers of all backgrounds in the communicative, game based learning approach for well over a decade.

Christine Orliac

Madame Orliac is currently working as a French instructor at UNH and as a long term sub at Oyster River High School teaching French. Previously she also worked with elementary students at Moharimet Elementary School  in the World Language Club. She brings a wealth of experience as well as a perfect French accent – having been born and raised in France.

Claire Beihl

Claire is fluent in Spanish, and is endorsed by the NH State Board of Education as a Paraeducator II. Recently, she returned from spending the year teaching in Madrid, Spain, where she worked full-time teaching Science to children in grades 3-6. In addition, during her senior year of college she worked as a program facilitator in a Children’s Museum. She implemented fun educational activities for children 2 and up. Claire is passionate about teaching children about the world they live in. She believes in instilling a love for learning by playing games, and making it fun. We are excited to have her, and the students will love her enthusiasm.

Claudia Rusnak

Claudia is a native speaker from Germany. She has worked with International airlines for over 12 years traveling all over the world before moving to New Hampshire in 2002. Claudia’s fun and inventive style is sure to be a hit in the classroom. For the past three years she has been instructing small groups in the Kingston School district. She has proved an excellent teacher and we can’t wait to bring her world experience to our local classrooms.

Jing Shi

Jing is a native Mandarin speaker from Hunan China. She lives in Durham. Jing holds a BA in Engineering from Changsha University of Science and Technology, and a Masters of Architecture from Hunan University. She moved to Durham a few years ago with her husband (who works in the Mathematics and Statistics department at UNH as an assistant professor) and four year old daughter. While she has been continuing her education at UNH she working on a graduate certificate in Industrial Statistics, she feels it is now time for a career change and wants to enter the field of education with One World. Jing is very amiable and friendly and her experience as a mother as well as in the classroom working with Yina has prepared her well for the task of teaching Chinese to our students.

Patricia Aristizabal Jennings

Patricia is a native of Colombia. She can‛t wait to meet her students, and shares her passion for teaching her language and culture. Patricia teaches at St. Patricks School during the school day. She uses our One World Language methodology and teaching kit. Also, Patricia has spent three years working as a teacher‛s aid covering a variety of topics ranging from language arts to mathematics, and is a mother of two young children.

 

Pranav Dadarwala

Pranav brings with him a wealth of experience. He did his undergraduate degree in graphic design at the Rhode Island School of Design and holds an MBA from Brandeis University and attended the ESSEC Business School in Paris, France. His work experience includes a stint at Penguin Books as a graphic designer as well as five years of marketing strategy and design consultation for a number of clients in the Mid-Atlantic and New England region. Pranav coordinates the program along with marketing.

Zenith Edwards

Zenith is a native of Colombia, and brings with her a wealth of teaching experiences ranging from elementary and middle school to the university level. She taught math to elementary and middle school children at SENA Learning Institute in Colombia. She instructed students in science, economics, and social studies at Simon Bolivar. Lastly, she taught marketing and finance courses at Atlantic University, and served as an undergraduate and graduate student advisor. In total she has over 17 years of teaching experience. Teaching Spanish is her passion, and she hopes to share this enthusiasm for her language, as well as South American culture, with all of her students. Zenith holds an MA in Education, along with a BA in Economics, and an MBA.
